“A lifetime is not what is between the moments of birth and death. A lifetime is one moment between my two little breaths. The present, the here, the now, that’s all the life I get. I live each moment in full, in kindness, in peace, without regret.”Chade Meng

The Ultimate Attainment by P’ang Yün

The past is already past.

Don’t try to regain it.

The present does not stay.

Don’t try to touch it.

From moment to moment.

The future has not come;

Don’t think about it

Beforehand.

Whatever comes to the eye,

Leave it be.

There are no commandments

To be kept;

There’s no filth to be cleansed.

With empty mind really

Penetrated, the dharmas

Have no life.

When you can be like this,

You’ve completed

The ultimate attainment.

“To learn Buddha Dharma is to learn the self. To learn the self is to forget the self. To forget the self is to become one with endless dimension, Universal Mind.”

Share your World

“No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves.” -Amelia Earhart
